• Hello!
I've been struggling for two bloody weeks to load ONE photo on our website -www.timelessphotographysa.com .
Please tell me when I will be able to load pictures on a website that I pay for!
It is difficult to have an online portfolio that can not be updated!
I can't even load photos from the online gallery!
When will this be fixed?

Hi Andre,

I certainly understand why you would be frustrated with this, it sounds incredibly ideal. Please check that the Flash and Java on your computer are updated. Also, please share with us the browser version and type you are using. This will allow us to test loading images on our end and locate whether the error is specific to you alone, or occurring in a specific browser.

Hi Andre,

Brianna has a point,
If you using IE then you might be having this problem because IE is not like normal browsers....IE is kinda going against the WC3 rules and that's why some websites don't work very good and work a little slow. Other browsers have problems too but I suggest getting Google Chrome if your not already using it.

Best,
Shawn

Hi Brianna,

I am not sure what you meant in your email by stating:” it sounds incredibly ideal".

I have been using IE, ever since I started the website, and I never this problem before.
Why now will the using of IE affect the loading capability for photos?
My Java and flash player is updated, as it is set to look for the latest versions every time I go onto the net.

Hello AndreK,
I am thinking that Brianna just used the wrong word and most likely meant something along the lines of "it seems really frustrating".

I know it can be a hassle to switch browsers, especially if you are used to using a certain one, however browsers and versions are always changing and little changes combined with other programs/applications etc can sometimes conflict with each other. Sometimes problems can arise that take us time to troubleshoot and figure out, so we like to try to offer a workaround, which a lot of times is changing your browser. We do find that Firefox works the best, however we are able to support you in other browsers.

Can you tell us what version of IE you are using and if this problem is only occurring on your computer, or if it happens on other computers as well. Have you been able to check out your ability to upload files on another computer?

We'll work with you until this is figured out.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Well no, but IE can sometimes make the SiteBuilder just go wild. So I recommend downloading Google Chrome, the best web browser available in my opinion

Hi AndreK,

Please do let us know what version of IE you have. If you're using IE9, that one currently has issues with web rendering, because it's in beta.

We recommend that you use Firefox while using Yola to get the best Yola experience possible. I use Chrome though, and it works fine. Sometimes there are bugs but usually it works. (And Chrome is fast too.)

You can download Firefox here, and download Chrome here.

Kind regards,
Nathan
