online store and visible categories

I've followed the tutorial on how to only make a certain root category visible in a store (so the store can be used across multiple sites) but at the top of the store widget there's a path that goes, for example, store > category A (I don't want category B visible in this store). If I click on 'store' then it takes me to a screen that shows Category A and Category B which would make products available in this store that I don't want there. Am I doing something wrong or is this widget that I've paid for not fit for purpose?
And why do I have to create a sign on for a different system just to post this?? AAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Hello Anthony,

The breadcrumb trail that you refer to is the default sub-heading and for your requirement to prevent customers seeing your whole inventory, the best way would be to remove the breadcrumbs. This is done by editing the Store CSS.
