A section of my site is dedicated to selling prints of my photography. I want to have a link on my photo gallery that opens a small, new window with some generic info on the prints and an "add to cart button" with a text field for the user to type in the name of the photo.

I have the cart/button part figured out. Doing the

a href="example" rel="nofollow" target="blank"

or fancier javascript effectively opens the new window (or a new tab), but it includes the page banner, top navigation, etc. Is it possible to have a small window with only the add to cart button and a few lines of text on it? that way it is less confusing and the user can look at the photo they want while typing in the name of the pic. If this seems too complicated, I am thankful for any other suggestions!

Thanks!

Hello!
I found a Javascript tutorial for a hover over html pop-up that is pretty straight forward and might possibly accomplish what you want http://www.calcaria.net/javascript/2006/09/javascript-hover-over-html-popup.html.

Hope this helps a little and let me know if it does so I can check out the finished product.

Emmy!

Thanks so much! The script was very useful! You can stop by http://cosmicsensorium.com/mandala_st... to see how it turned out.

It doesn't exactly work for what I originally wanted (to actually have an Add to Cart Button in the popup) but it is definitely useful for organizing info more effectively without overcrowding the page! and I think I'll end up doing something else instead of the popup.. again, thanks!
