How can you make all pictures, text etc to have a left alignment?

After centering everything on my homepage and thinking it looks good on a fairly old square monitor, it doesn't look at all good on my new widescreen laptop.

I thought I'd align all text and pictures to the left, which would look ok on widescreens, but you cannot align pictures as they seem to center themselves with no options to change this.

Are there any good rules/guidelines to follow with the Yola software to deal with these problems?

Hello tels7

There are a few ways of doing this with Yola.

The easiest is using the text widget and selecting align left. this works for both text and images placed using this widget.

For images placed using the image widget once again there's a facility within the properties of the image widget that allows or this.

If you want greater flexibility and the option of placing the text or the image over a greater range then the use of a two column widget within a two column widget allows you to place the text or image almost anywhere in the horizontal plane.

If you would like specific direction or help with any of this please ask.
