Order Status widget on Website

Hello All,

I was thinking is there any way that my customer enter their email address & order ID and can get the status of their order placed on our website. Can it be done at site made on Yola or is there any method to do this.

I am searching google but not able to get the right path.

Hello Abhishek,

I can see how that would be a desirable feature to accompany your online store. I searched the Ecwid knowledge base to see if they had a feature like that, but I do not believe they do.

There are a number of other powerful features you will find such as automated email tracking.

I will be happy to pass this suggestion on to our account manager. In the meantime, if you find an alternate solution, we would love for you to post it here as I'm sure others would be interested in it as well.

I heard back from our Ecwid account manager and I just wanted to share his reply with you. Please see below:

1. If a customer creates an account during checkout, he/she will be able to check order status on the special page in the store. A customer must be logged in to do this.

2. This feature can be implemented using our Order API. This task will require some coding though.

3. We will consider implementing this feature in the future.
