Out of stock items and layout issues

Is there a way to still display out of stock items for sale but notify customers that it may take longer for the delivery to be fulfilled? This is incredibly important and it need to be able to do that. I could of course put it as being in unlimited stock and put that it's not in the description but it doesn't look very good.

I would also as a seperate question like to know if I can move the banner and navigation menus and also if I can completely delete the heading box (it's empty but I would rather just not have it)

Thanks

Hi Stuart,

You can display out of stock items in your catalogue by:
Disable the "Hide out of stock products" option on the "System Settings -> General -> Cart" page.

At this time there isn't a facility built in to allow extra advice. It's a feature that I have read is being added to the Ecwid wish list.

You may be able to do at least some of those things that you enquired about in the second batch. Can you advise the web-site address and the template Style that you are using?

Hi gop,

I can see where I can hide them, but I need customers to be able to order them. If an item is marked as out of stock the 'add to bag' option disappears. I can get around it but it wont be as fluid as I would like and will mess up the stock numbers.

I'm currently using the Square Glass template. The site isn't published yet so there isn't a web address but I do have the domain dauntlessgames.co.uk. Being able to move the banner/navigation menu or delete the heading box isn't really a big deal though
