Page heirarchy and sub-folders, NOT just in the menu structure

I currently use Yola Bronze for my website and can't work out a way to do something, which might perhaps not be possible with this package.

Basically, I have a website mysite.co.uk and I want to structure my webpages so that google etc will read them as follows:

mysite.co.uk/page1/subpages as required
mysite.co.uk/page2/subpages as required.
... and so on,

where the page1,2 etc are pages themselves.

I know I can do this with WordPress and I've never thought about it until today for my Yola site, but now I'd like to tidy things up as every page is currently hanging off the home-page.

I'm comfortable with my menu structure, it's the file structure I'm trying to adjust.

Is this possible as the tutorials I've located appear to focus upon the menu structure only.

Any comments gratefully accepted.

Thanks

Hello Charles,

It's not possible to physically arrange page files this way. Every page hangs on the root file and as you say the menu structure is a virtual manipulation of this. There are designs reasons for this offered by the Yola apologists but I'm unable to locate these at this time on the forum.

The File Manager does allow folders within folders but this isn't related to the site page structure as such.

Hi Gop,
Thanks for the reply.
After posting my question I continued to search through old posts and it did appear that we couldn't create sub-folders.
At least I know now.
Thanks.
