Hello I am a silver user and was wondering if there is any way to have the page heading hidden from view or at least a lot smaller than it currently is, the site I am working on is www.flowersburnley.co.uk. please bare in mind I am not to clever with the css script writing which I think will be the only way to do this so any help will be greatly appreciated

Hi Craig,

To change the size just add this to the css editor.

#header h1 {
font-size: 48px;
}

and change the '48px' to any size you like.

If you want to fully remove it add this instead...

#header h1 {
display: none;
}

Let me know how it works out.

Thanks for that. sorry to be a pain but if use the code to remove it completely will it still have a H1 tag for search and seo purpose or will the site have no h1tag. thanks. also in the css code it says the following can you put a keyword after the h1 {
h1 {
font-size:48px;
}

h2 {
font-size:32px;
}

h3 {
font-size:24px;
}

by the way loving your site. how do you put one of the boxes on that rotates the ads featured local business.

You are absolutely correct you really should have one H1 tag on your page for SEO reasons.

The code I give you above only selects H1's in the 'header' div so all other H1's will still show. If you do want to remove the page header you could just add another H1 to the page manually.

Not sure what you mean here > 'also in the css code it says the following can you put a keyword after the h1'

You don't need to edit existing css just paste what I gave you above straight into the css editor.

Thanks. The slide show I am using on my home page is from here - http://slidesjs.com/
