My editing pages have froze. This is my business! I was in the middle of editing which means ALL MY PAGES ARE BLANK!!!!! I got the home page done and was working on another when everything froze. I mean froze as in- on my home page you can see the picture but the text boxes are empty and on the other page the picture is there but where the text boxes are supposed to be there are just small x's. I can move widgets but they will not place on ANY Page.... I have cleared my cache etc

Hello Biliegh Berrie

I have checked the Yola account that I was able to find using the e-mail address of your Forum profile, and I'm afraid I wasn't able to reproduce the error you are reporting. I could view your account and use Sitebuilder functionality without problems, no freezing.

The way you describe the problem sounds like it is located on your computer. Which browser are you using? Firefox sometimes freezes on my end as well. Also, if you make your computer work on too many tasks at the same time, freezing can happen.

Can you please try a different browser and on a different computer to check if that solves the problem?

You can move the curser, move the widgets but nothing works. You can click on fonts, page manger etc and they come up but when you click on them nothing happens.

I use Chrome, I am trying it out in IE right now and so far so good. If it because of chrome- something has to be done to fix this. I didnt have any problems until the "New Look" was introduced into editing. I only use Chrome and nothing else, ever! I have been so frustrated I was ready to delete my account and go somewhere else :(

Hi Billiegh,

This sounds frustrating and I'm sorry you are still experiencing an issue. As Stefan indicated above, we have been unable to reproduce the problem on our side. The Sitebuilder works well with Chrome and we have not seen any similar complaints since the new Sitebuilder changes were released.

I can suggest a few more things however. Please check out the tips in this tutorial and let us know how it goes. Also other members have reported that browser add-ons or toolbars they installed were having a negative impact on their Sitebuilder but removing them or disabling them during editing solved their problem, so you may want to investigate that as well.

Those x's you see are were paragraphs are. When I click on the widget icons they move but will not place into the page. I can click on the Site, Page etc in the upper left corner and the drop down menus come up but when I click on them nothing happens.......

Pictures 2 and 3 are my Home Page and although you see the boxes were the text is supposed to be, clicking on them does nothing.

Thank You Frank. Yes I followed it but it had nothing to do with my issue. What gets me is that They have no issues when they look at it and when I go to my lappy and log in, I see the same editing problems. So how they are not is baffling me. And I was good using the IE until I used the Layout tool. And when this all began I was going good until I used the Layout. I am frustrated because when it started messing up I was scared I was going to loose all my work I had done to that point and hurried up and published when I was not ready for it to publish. This is my business and if clients think I cannot even do a simple website then why would they trust my judgement... So I am trying really hard to be patient.

Any help would be Greatly Appreciated!

Here are the Extensions I have in Chrome: AVG Safe Search, Google Docs PDF Viewer, Google Dictionary, Google/Keep My op Outs

I went ahead and disabled Bitly and AVG Do Not Track and see if that helps but I had those this whole time. I do not use IE so there are no extensions. I hate toolbars so I have none of those either.

It didn't work.

I ran my Advanced System Care Again and crossed my fingers and IE is up, for now. I am scared though to use anything other typing :(

Hi again Biliegh ....

Any progess?
If you've been using a 'format rich' text editor like MS Word etc.. and coping then pasting into your text widget blocks this can cause problems. Just a thought to start with. If I could have your website URL I would like to take a look myself with different computers and browsers.

If you you want to post it here good, or send it to me here fjsc62@hotmail.com that would be fine also. I will be available off and on through today.

Anyway will keep updated....
