When I sell something via Pay Pal on my site, and the item has been paid for, .. why is the item still on the page? Shouldn't it be deleted automatically?

Hello Russ,

If you are using a single PayPal widget then there is no count of the items that have been sold or infact in stock, as there is no direct feedback so it really isn't something that can be automatically managed.

If you are using the Yola/Ecwid Online Store and payment gateway with PayPal then the count can be utilised and a facility to remove or alert the item from stock can be activated when the stock available reaches zero.

That pretty much clears up the mystery for me. I must look into this Yola Online store and payment gateway then. I wasn't aware of it. Sounds like a good idea. For now, I just keep a vigilant watch over the item and if it sells, I remove it.
Thank you very much.

Hi Russ,

Best to send a message via the Customer Support link. I have just noticed that they have put up the price of the Online Store on their Pricing page, so it's worth quoting this thread to get the price that Stefan offered you.

The price for Yola Online Store hasn't changed. It is just the monthly hosting packages. So when you upgrade to Yola Online Store from a Yola Free account and choose monthly payment, it would be a little more than it used to be (with annual payment the price is the same as before). For existing Yola Bronze users the price will be the same as I posted above.

So, if I already have Bronze, the price for the Online Store would be less than $19.95 a year or around there? If I do upgrade to the Online Store, then give Customer Support the thumbs up and tell them I heard it from this thread? Is there a way to view this online store or preview it? -Thanks for the feedback.

Yes. $10 monthly or $100 annually for an existing Bronze subscription. (That really is excellent value)

Yola have offered a 30 day money back if it's not what you want. I presume that is still active.

You could get the free version directly from ecwid.com which allows 10 items. That would give you a feel of the Store. If you like it then you would go ahead with the Yola purchase as this is considerably cheaper than the native Ecwid.

You can also go to the Ecwid site and have a look at their material. They have a demo on the overall including their setup and some operations.

Yola have a series of tutorials on the Store https://www.yola.com/tutorials/catego...
scroll down to group #15 and you will see the series there.

Hello Russ

I have the feeling that some confusion has been caused for you on this thread. As a Yola employee I can tell you that if you want to have Yola Online Store, you won't need to contact our Support or point out this forum thread to anyone. You can just go ahead, log into your Yola Bronze account and purchase Yola Online Store from there. All Yola Bronze users can get Yola Online Store for US$10 monthly or US$100 annually. So as a Yola Bronze user you will get this price automatically on check-out. If you have problems to purchase Yola Online Store, please let me know, and I'll be happy to assist you further.

For looking at Yola Online Store examples, you are welcome to click through the links on our thread Yola Online Store Examples and Features.
