Hi Dawn,

By HUGE, do you mean file size or size on the page?

There are other alternatives like Google Checkout (this link has more info: http://www.yola.com/customer-support/....

In SA, there's the option to use Payfast, this link has more info: http://getsatisfaction.com/yola/topic...

Hi Dawn - the picture size on the PayPal widgets in the Online Store are of a standard size. You can add your own pictures and PayPal buttons using the HTML code provided by PayPal directly. But this takes a lot more time than using the Online Store widgets on Yola. If you'd like more info though, let us know :)

I believe you can change the size by altering the <img src tags...
change the WIDTH & HEIGHT...

I'm unclear on what pictures exactly you are wanting to change so that suggestion may or may not be relevant... The paypal button sizes can be changed however I do know that much...

Let's make sure I'm clear on what you are doing... Once you create each button for each product, does it give you a code to paste into your site???

Hi there, i think i should resubmit my questions just for clarity:
I have been using the widget for paypal in Yola and from what I undertand that is not able to be changed? Have I understood correctly? It seems that there is somewhere else that I can actually "make" the paypal but i'm afraid i don't now where that is or how to start it. I also read a bit somewhere that paypal cannot RECIEVE payment in S.A.? I this so? and is there some way that I can make my paypal reieve payment in S.A. and also make the buttons (if that is the correct terminology) for the pictures smaller? Thank you so much for offering advice. Dawn

ohhhh... Yeah you need to make your own store probably... So find another useful service, I am not familiar with payfast... But, if the payfast buttons are too big, I might be able to help you with that later... LOL I'm sorry, I couldn't help more...

Again I'm sorry, I assumed that you had created your own store, and just used paypal for checkout I really don't know too much of anything about Yola's Paypal store, it never seemed to work for me, so I didn't use it...

Hi Dawn,

PayPal does not work for South Africans, apparently due to regulations. South African PayPal account holders can only send money, they can't receive money. If you Google the terms "PayPal South Africa" you'll see lots of articles on the matter!

The Online Store widgets on Yola only work with PayPal accounts. If you want to use another service like Payfast, you'll need to add their buttons to your site by customizing them on Payfast's site and then pasting the HTML onto your site using the HTML widget.

The Online Store widgets have a standard image size. If you want to display something different, you can create your own images using the image widget and adding HTML as per the steps above.

I hope that helps!
