Hi ChilledPip,

Thanks for letting us know about this problem you're having. Just for the benefit of other users reading this post, I'm going to insert some directions here about uploading a file using the File Manager. And you're welcome to review, just to make sure you've covered all the steps -- but it sounds to me like you've done everything right. Would you please send in a Support Request while you're in the Site Builder application? We can then take a closer look at what's going on in your specific situation. Click on Help --> Contact Support, and fill out the relevant information in the message entry box.

Thanks!

~ Adrienne

UPLOADING FILES TO FILE MANAGER

1. In the Site Builder, add the File widget from the right-hand sidebar onto your page
2. A dialogue box will open and it will say 'No files in sight, click to upload some' -> click on that instruction
3. Another dialogue box will open with areas to upload 4 files and 4 browse buttons -> click on the first browse button
4. It will open a window that shows the folders in your computer, you will need to go to the folder where you have saved the file that you would like to upload, and click on it and then click on 'Open' on the bottom right of the window
5. Then click on 'ok' in the small dialogue box and your file should be uploaded to your File Manager dialogue, once done, click on 'close' on the bottom right
6. A file should be added to your page

I should probably also add that we have a file size limit. We currently have a limit of 5MB per file, although there is no limit to the number of files that you can upload or the space available for your site. If you have a individual file that is larger than 5MB you could use a free file hosting service such as: http://tinyurl.com/wwwboxnet or http://www.mediafire.com/ and link to it from your site.
