My domain (www.petervanderhoek.com) still has not been transferred to yola even though over 12 days have gone by. Also, any e-mails Yola should generate are not received by me (no, neither in my spam box).

Hi Peter,

Could you let me know if you have access to peter@im-translations.net? This is the email address registered to petervanderhoek.com, and where the authorization email was sent. The authorization email needs to be completed in order for the transfer to start.

If you have access to this email address, please let me know and I will resend the email to you. Alternatively you will need to contact your registrar and ask them to update the email for you. Once this is done I can resend the email.

Thanks!
Jackie

Dear Jackie, thank you very much for your reply.

I do indeed have access to this e-mail account, however, not a single e-mail from yola seems to arrive there.

I will do so, Jackie. If the email fails again, could you send it to vanderhoek.peter@gmail.com please?

Thanks in advance and have a wonderful day.

Dear Jackie,

I have now found out that this email account is no longer receiving emails. I still don't know why, as I can still still send emails with it.
This does, however, explain why I was not informed by Yola of my expiring domains. Could you please make sure that internally my email address will be vanderhoek.peter@gmail.com to avoid future problems?

Thank you very much in advance, Jackie.

Have a great day.

Best regards,

Peter

Hi Peter,

I am sorry to hear this! But that does explain why you weren't receiving the renewal or authorization emails.

Your domains have expired with Yola, so if you repurchase them you will be able to set vanderhoek.peter@gmail.com as your email.

If you would like to continue with your domain transfer, you will need to ask your current registrar to update your email address for petervanderhoek.com, and once this is done we can resend the authorization email to you. This is to protect domain ownership and maintain transfer security.

Thanks!
Jackie

Hi Jackie,

At my current registrar, my email address is not the one that does not work, so that shouldn't be a problem. Unfortunately I cannot repurchase my domains at Yola since it tells me they are not renewable.

Kind regards,

Peter

Hi Peter,

Can you confirm which email doesn't work - is it peter@im-translations.net or peter@petervanderhoek.com?

The email peter@im-translations.net is registered to your petervanderhoek.com so this is where the authorization email will be sent.

You seem to have a few email addresses so I just want to make sure I am getting the information right before I continue with the domain transfer - thanks!

Hi Jackie,

peter@im-translations.net is the address that does NOT work. I do not know why this email address would be associated with peter@petervanderhoek.com since it was registered with another email. Maybe I used it in my personal information.

Thank you very much for everything, Jackie!

Have a great day,

Peter

Thanks for this info Peter!

If you take a look at your domain settings in the public WHOIS database here: http://www.who.is/whois/petervanderho... you will see:

Registrant Email: peter@im-translations.net

The registrant email is where the authorization email will be set. We can only send the authorization email to this address (and not another address).

To continue the transfer you will need to contact your domain registrar and ask them to change the registrant email from peter@im-translations.net to your current address.

Once this is done please let me know and I can resend the authorization email.

Thanks!
