Hi everyone! I got a problem. I wonder if you can help me. When people type the name of my domain on internet, it's not there anymore. But I still can access it through yola. Is there something we can do about it? Thanks!

Hi Simon

First, can you check what your domain name is right on Yola? When you are in the site builder, at the top is your website's address.

If it doesn't say your domain, then that means your domain isn't published to your website.

Your domain may have expired. How long have you had the domain? And when you bought your domain, how long did you buy it for?

Can you let me know what your domain is so I can take a look?

I hope we can get this resolved soon!

Hi Nathan

Thanks for the quick reply.

My domain name is www.simonlariviere.com

I've been on the site builder and it actually shows the website address.

I believe I renewed my subscription but...

I'm crossing my fingers...

Thanks again

Hi Simon,
Thanks for sharing your domain. I did have a peek at your domain and it expired on 5-10-2011. I see that you had tried to renew this domain a few times, but were unsuccessful. Since your domain expired over a month ago, unfortunately there's nothing we can do to restore it at the moment.

It will go through a deletion process at the registrar, and then will be offered back up for purchase once it is available. Regardless of where you register your domain, the domain registrar only has a 30 day window in which to retrieve lapsed domains.

Your only option at this stage is to wait for the domain to be released and then repurchase it. Sorry I don't have better news for you, Simon! Keep your chin up! I am confident that if you keep an eye on the status of your domain - you will be able to grab it again as soon as it becomes available.
