Preventing some pages from being uploaded. Is there a way?

Just wondering if there is a way that pages can be designed in the site, but kept 'aside' so that they are not loaded up online, perhaps the design is not right or there are pages done to be kept for later. So... is there a way that an 'x' or something can be put next to a page so that it isn't uploaded with all other pages? Thanks.

I don't think there is, I guess for now the best way is to password protect any unfinished pages.

Hi JC,
You can remove a page from the navigation and as long as there are not other links to the page from anywhere else, no one would see it.

These are the steps to removing a page from your navigation:

1. Click on "Page" > "Page Manager" in the main menu.
2. The Page Manager will open and you will see the list of your pages.
3. To remove pages from your navigation, you need to click on the green check for the page that you would like to remove. This check is located next to the green "indent" arrow to the right of each page name (if you mouse over it, you will see the words "Click here to hide this in your menu").
4. Click on the green check, so it becomes a red "x". This removes it from your navigation.
5. Click "OK" and save your changes.

Don't forget to click on the "Publish to the web" button to update your website.

Kind Regards,

Thanks Emmy and others. Been using Yola for quite long time now and yes know removal of links from Page Manager. However, a couple of times a page has come up when searched in google that does not have links on it at all (ie not linked to other pages), and I just wished to know if there was a way to not have them come up.
So... I thought password protect was the only way (which I omitted to say in first post), but just wanted to query in case there was something else (similar to when we do our own ftp upload to another host/server and can select which pages to upload.)
Perhaps Yola could think of this for the future?
Thanks all again. JC
And, oops forgive the spelling in heading!

I corrected the typo in the subject heading of this post :)

Thanks for the additional information. Right now, all the pages are uploaded as you know. It is something for us to consider and I will pass on this suggestion to our Product Team.
