Hello Steve,

I see that you've also sent an email to us and I'll reply to it right away.

Yola does not yet have a Photo Gallery Widget - this is something that we are planning to develop and release in the near future.

In the meantime we have a variety of options available by either using another gallery service integrated with Yola or using the Picture Widget. You can find more information on these links:

* Photo Galleries, Portfolios and Presentations: http://www.yola.com/tutorials/article...
* Slide.com: http://www.yola.com/tutorials/article...
* Flickr galleries: http://www.yola.com/tutorials/article...
* Smugmug gallery: http://www.yola.com/tutorials/article...
* Picasa gallery: http://www.yola.com/tutorials/article...
* Photobucket gallery: http://www.yola.com/tutorials/article...
* Adding a row of pictures: http://www.yola.com/tutorials/article...

If you need any further information on any of the above options, please let us know!

I tried using the photobucket suggestion for a gallery(not a slideshow), but when you click on a picture on the webpage, it doesn't enlarge----rather, it sends you to the photobucket website...?
is there a way to have a slideshow without advertising that it is a smugmug or photobucket slideshow? can you remove those labels?

also, if i want a gallery of pictures in rows----how can i get the thumbnails to enlarge when clicked on?
thanks so much!

Hi Shannon,

Many photo sites will take their branding off of slideshows if you choose to upgrade and pay for their services. It is very unlikely you will find a free photo gallery that does not attach their branding on their product.

I would suggest that you try adding a Flickr gallery to your site. Their galleries are very professional and clean looking. Also, you can click on the pictures in the gallery and the picture will be prompted and expand within your site page, not on another site.

I hope you find this helpful!

Cheers!

i suggest using http://visuallightbox.com/ it has an amazing gallery - visit http://www.shamrockandrambler.co.uk/g... to see the gallery in action.

It has the functionality to use links to photos on Photobucket, Flickr and SmugMug.

Hope that helps!

The visual Lightbox example is a gallery that incorporates a slideshow (when the photos are click, they enlarge and form a slideshow. This slideshow can be switched off by pressing the pause button). You can use your own photo's and is relatively simple to set up, if you need any help setting it up, I would be more than happy to explain.

Hi Karen

I am sure that Andi will be able to give you detailed instructions on how to do it, but meanwhile, you can take a look at the Visual Lightbox website. It has a lot of information on how to create your slide show.

You can embed the code on your Yola site using a HTML Widget. Please see our Adding HTML tutorial for steps on how to do it.
