Sorry James it not possible to have anyone view your site and upload an image of theirs to your site as you are the only one able to add content.

This protects you as well as ensures you have control over your sites content.

What you can do is to set up and build your website the way you want it and then put a link on your site to a Photobucket account where you can set up a group folder for anyone to upload images to and then once each day update the content on your site to display all the images with comments.

Currently I think this is the only way that you can do what you are wishing..

That's a very good idea about photobucket, it would also work with Flickr.

you know Ruth I have looked high and low on the Flickr site and I can't see where it has a guest photo upload section for uploading their own images to your photos or group. As I have read they can only leave comments on your images and James needed the ability for visitors to leave comments as well as upload images. Whereas, Photobucket has the ability to upload and comment viewer images.

Firstly I would always recommend Flickr because they are an outstanding company as well as a partner of Synthasite but in James' case it did not suit his requirements for what he needed.

You can create a group pool and then invite people to it with Flickr. I'd have to dig a bit to find out how to do it if anyone is interested, since it's been a while since I made use of that function in Flickr.
