Two pictures at my site are only half-showing. Preview at Yola is fine.

Hi Fran,
Thanks for providing us with your url!

I have taken a look at your home page and I do not see any half pictures. Is the problem on your home page or a different page?

Can you let us know what browser you are using. Thanks!

Hi Fran

I took a look at your site. The images appear fine to me. Here's a screenshot of what I see on your site.

However, one thing I did notice is your images take a long time to load up. They are very big. I would suggest resizing them. You can do it through Picnik which is integrated with Yola or if you have a lot of images, you can use a bulk re-sizer. Here's a free one if you'd like to download: http://pixresizer.en.softonic.com/

Here's a tutorial on how to best display your images that you may find helpful:

Please let us know if we can further assist you.

I just opened the site with Explorer and the site is fine. What's going on. This must be a Google Chrome problem. Any tips?

This is crazy. Even as I look at your images, I opened my site, and the blue "cover" of the book on the left, and the restaurant picture are only partially there. Please see this link again http://francaldwellstudio.com/

I'm Using Google Chrome. I've never had this problem before, was updating the site just a few days ago. (I think the first time since I got Chrome).

See my last comment. It's fine with Explorer. Now what? Do I have to give up the usually convenient Chrome?

The problem with browsers is that they all interpret code a bit differently. One of our forum users said in another post that the cache in Chrome fills very quickly and clearning it often can help with problems. Here is a link to that thread: Known issues using Chrome.

Can you post a screen shot of what your site looks like in Chrome so we can take a look.

I tried but got this error report. Look - I'll switch back to Explorer (and reduce the size of my pictures) to simplify everything. I've never been completely happy with all aspects of Chrome.

Thanks Monique - In any case, I wouldn't have had a clue how to clear Chrome's cache! Thanks to all of you for being so helpful.
