I am trying to place a .gif or a .swf file above the content area and below my current header.

I don't want to place it in the content area as there is a white background, and I want it to live as a seperate banner on the green strip. Here's my site: www.veterans-exercise.com

One idea I had was to great a gif that would have my static header with a banner gif below it, though the gif didn't save with a transparent background.

Hopefully it's clear enough what I'm asking :) Would appreciate any help.

Hello jamesgoodwin0,

What you could possibly do is add your .gif or .swf to your Text Widget. Then, using the "Margin" link to move your Text Widget into the desired space. Would that work for you?

Hi Sanja, yes that worked just fine, cheers. I put a minus in front of the margin number to move it up then I adjusted the margin on the widget below that to bring the text to the top of the white box.

Thanks for the solution.
