Placing text/images over background image page - difficult to view

Have made a background image and wish that to be displayed on all pages - which is fine. However, am redesigning a site I have, keeping the old format (ie going over the old site pages, ie saving as and then doing) with lots of coding, but changing the look of the site with new bckgrnd and no header. Problem is... that when I now place text/images on page, I know I have to stipulate 'ex' amount as top margin to start my text/images etc, and when doing this on the page it all appears down the page, in fact way down and way over/below the background page image. This is so so so hard to design in. You can see the text box for Welcome, on first image right at bottom almost, but when viewed in preview is correct. As had to fiddle a bit backwards and forwards viewing and have had to put in extra text boxes so would look right.
Please is there another way? As it seems all the html boxes for coding pushes the design view way down. have attached two images, one in design view and then the other when previewed. Must be tired, but can't work this one out. Can you please help.

Also, is there a problem at the moment with Yola, as have to log out every now and then as the preview is not showing what has been changed and saved (when logging back in everything is fine).

Thank you.

Try this: In the sitebuilder, click preferences, then uncheck the box that says
Show Widget Borders. Now, the borders will only show when you mouseover them.

Sorry, I don't have anything else. Maybe put all the code in one box?

Mmm... will try that. But may be a bit hard to then distinguish code, as have up to 9 or so on one of the pages! This is a free site, so cannot alter coding as can do with silver.

Kevin, tried the coding all together. Yes does bring the text boxes ie Welcome wording etc, up page, but still does not bring it up correctly. Still all very low down in design view. Hopefully, someone will come up with something??

Hello JC,

Could you give us the name of a page of your site that is affected so that we can take a look? I've tried to view the pictures you've posted but they have a low resolution and I can't see anything when I zoom in.
