Hello Wyatt,

I am sorry to hear your are experiencing this issue and understand how frustrating this must be for you.

There are a number of reasons why you might be having difficulty logging into your account. Please help us eliminate all the obvious ones first, and if you are still having no luck we can investigate further:

  • Check that you typed the right email address and password. Typing mistakes can happen. If you are copying and pasting your details, rather try typing them in, as the copied details may contain an error.

  • Make sure that you have not entered any spaces before or after your email address when you try to log in, as this could prevent your email address from being recognized.

  • Have you forgotten your password? If so, you can recover it by going to the Forgot Password page and entering your Yola login address. An email containing a password reset link will be sent to that address within 24 hours. Check your junk/spam mail if you do not receive it. (If you are using Gmail they now have tabs separating incoming mail by category and your might find 'password reset link' under the 'PROMOTIONS' tab (top right) and not in your primary Inbox).

  • You might have typed in the incorrect email when you created your account. Did you receive a verification email and a welcome email? If not, chances are that you typed your email address incorrectly when you signed up.

  • If you have created more than one account with Yola, or if you own multiple email addresses, please make sure that you are using the correct one to log in with.

  • Clear your browser's cache or try logging in using a different browser (e.g., Chrome) or computer. It is possible that you have auto-complete for logins turned on. What this may be doing is overwriting your new password with the old one and causing an error. To resolve this try using a different browser. Or follow the directions in Google to "Turn off auto-complete" for your browser. Follow the steps provided, and then try to log in again. To do this click on this link.

If none of the above suggestions solve your problem, please get back to us via email at support@yola.com. If you get an error message when trying to log into your account, please copy and paste it and send it to us. Other information that will help is:

  1. The name you used when you created your account.
  2. The name you gave your website.
  3. The URL or domain name that you published to if your site was published.

The above information will help us search the database and hopefully help you restore access to your account. Note that if you are not emailing from your login address then we will need to send you some proof of ownership questions to answer before we can assist you further.
