Hello,

I still cannot point my site (southlaw.co.uk) is there anything wrong with the way I have set up my Yola website as need to get the site published as as soon as possible.

Also if I set up another domain on Yola can i also point southlaw.co.uk to the site?

Hi Daniel,

I'm not able to see the DNS settings for southlaw.co.uk, because a server error is returned on the lookup. Are you trying to point your domain to Yola? If so, the steps to point to Yola are here. If these are the steps you're following, please let us know where you're getting stuck.

Hello,

Everything is set up as it should be but it still will not work.

I have emailed the company who hold my domain and they keep refering it to level 2 but I have had no reply from them.

I am not lost and do not know what to do. I really need my site up and running tomorrow as I have been trying to set it up for nealy a week now.

Hi Daniel,

There are no A records setup pointing to Yola. You need to set these up for it to work.

Hi daniel,

There are a couple of other config options which are generally used. I don't know your registrar's requirements so if nothing is mentioned in their FAQ try deleting the @

Your convention is a little unfamiliar.

The A records are usually a specific addition through a control panel not added as text as such

Then after the setting up of the addition of the A records then fill in the fields

Hello,

Thanks for the reply.

The A is a specifc addition I just put down exactly as it is on the domain.

I have removed the @ one as it would not allow to leaving the box blank.

Lets see if that works.

I bet it will not.

No I don't think it will work as you do need two A records or 1 A record and 1 CNAME in some DNS management settings. (eg: Godaddy: A @ 184.72.229.176
and CNAME www @)

I checked your DNS settings again and still nothing through but as you know propagation can take time.

Daniel who is your registrar?
