Hi all,
I'm new to all this and I'm trying to figure out if you want to start posting inbound links before or after your site has been indexed? I've already done all the other things, applied to google, msn, yahoo I've
done the free directory thing(dmoz, etc.) I'm not sure on this though.

Adding Inbound links where appropriate will help get your site indexed so, it dosen't really matter if you add them before and after.

Thanks for that answer Conner, I was wondering because if they use that inbound link and don't bookmark your site, then try to google you, well you know the rest. That's what was throwing me off. I appreciate your answering this for me.
