Praise to the Yola forum staff who have been excellent over the past two days

Just wanted to say a big thank you to the forum staff for being so helpful and understanding over the last couple of very frustrating days. That they took the brave decision to roll-back their recent changes shows that they have been listening and are willing to do whatever they can to help us.

They have had to deal with a lot of frustrated and angry customers and have dealt with this very professionally (apart from a very dismissive "I can't believe we lived without it for so long" comment early on when everyone was saying it didn't work).

So thank you. Your response and hard work during this time has not gone unnoticed. Although I am still quite apprehensive about the planned changes in the future - I am now a lot more reassured that the Yola staff will listen to us if problems arise again and will act accordingly.

P.S. Special thanks to Monique who took the time to personally look into my site and confirm that it was an issue with the recent change and not just me not using it properly. This level of support is truly outstanding.

Hi Chris

Thanks for your patience and understanding. We have the highest regard for the time and effort that customers put into their sites and the importance that these sites have to their businesses. We always try our level best to ensure that updates to our software, necessary and important as they are, do not have a negative impact on customers' ability to edit their sites in a predictable and reliable manner. When things go wrong as they did with this release we take that very seriously indeed.

I do understand your apprehension about future upgrades, but while I can't assure you that we will never make mistakes or inadvertently introduce bugs again I can promise that we will not rest until we fix such issues if and when they occur.

Regarding your site: I am going to hold off on any further investigation until the intended rollback but once this is done I will take a look again and confirm that all is well and advise you on how to proceed.
