Premium Style - One Off Purchase?

Hi Yola,

I really like some of the Premium Styles, however I really don't need all the extras that Yola Silver provides such as the extra storage and premium support.

I found a topic that speaks about Premium Styles as a one off payment http://forum.yola.com/yola/topics/pre..., however I can't seem to find how to do this. Could someone please point me in the right direction?

And if the option to buy Premium Styles as one off has been removed, could you consider re-instating this? I'd be more than happy to pay up to $50 for a Premium Style, but I can't really afford the ongoing payment for a Yola Silver account.

Thanks.

Hello Eyes Half Closed

I'm afraid to tell you that we stopped offering to purchase Premium Styles once off separately quite a while ago, and we don't plan to re-introduce this, I'm sorry. Premium Styles are only available within the Yola Silver package, and we believe that you get a very good value for money.

Did you know that there are many more features with Yola Silver that you may want to consider? We have constantly been releasing new features, and many of them are Yola Silver features.

One of the most important features is e.g. Mobile Publishing. More and more users use the internet on their cell phones, and it will be an advantage in future if you have a mobile version of your website, which is included in the Yola Silver package.

Or, if a professional look like with a Premium Style is important for you, you may also prefer professional stock photos on your website? Yola Silver users can now browse thousands of professional images by our partner Fotolia and use them for free on their sites.

Third additional Yola Silver feature: Publish your site to your Facebook page. Create a Facebook business page and integrate a Facebook version of your website there – all automatically done and updated as you edit your Yola website.

If you send me an e-mail to support@yola.com, I'm happy to give you a 20% discount on Yola Silver for the first year. Just make sure you write from your e-mail address you use for your Yola account, add to the subject "Forward to Stefan" and provide the URL of this thread.

Thanks for the reply.

Just wondering why you decided to stop selling Premium Styles separately? For me it would be a great way to make my website look more professional, for Yola it would be a great way increase the amount of paying customers; win / win! :D
I'm sure there's also plenty of people who'd also love this option to come back.

And Yola Silver certainly seems quite good value, but I'm using my website to share my music for free, plus I'm a full time student, meaning I can't really afford the ongoing payment. I don't really need stock photos or mobile publishing, and don't have / don't plan on creating a Facebook page.

Please consider re-introducing this feature, it just gives users more options and Yola a slightly larger revenue ;D

Or at least add some more Free Styles; I've noticed a few of the Styles already in the Site Builder come from the site http://www.freecsstemplates.org, and there are hundreds more of free, ready to use styles which could be easily integrated into Yola.

Hello Eyes Half Closed

Thanks for your detailed reply, I really appreciate it. I understand your request, and I will forward it to our product team. I will also let them know about your suggestion to add more free templates.

Would you mind letting me know what the most important thing is that you can get with Premium Styles? Is it just the better look of those Styles or also the submenu feature (which is only available with Yola Silver as well)? Did you know that you can actually choose one of the simple Free Styles such as Squeaky Clean, No Frills, etc., and design your absolutely individual custom Style, using our Custom Panel Widget, Picture and Text Widgets? If you take all navigation links out of the navigation, you practically have a blank page that you can design whichever way you want by just using the Sitebuilder means, creating your own navigation bar, especially by using the Custom Panel Widget (which is often underestimated). It will be a bit of extra design work, but I'm telling you from my own experience that it is really fun!

If you need any help or suggestions, please let us know.

I like some of the Premium Styles, simply because they look better. And thanks for the tip about using one of the simple free styles, I might give that a try, but I'm really not much of a graphic designer, so that's why I wanted to buy a Premium Style; so I can get all the fancy edging, drop shadows, graphics included.

Thanks for the suggestions anyway.
