Hello Jon

First of all, thank you for using Yola for 3 years already! We're very happy to have you as a long-time customer with us.

Yola changed prices and product structures in December 2011 to allow customers to buy multiple domains while paying for hosting once. We've notified all our users about this change both via e-mail and on our blog. However, to make the transition to the normal prices easier for existing users, we applied a discount to their first renewal after the price changes. This is why you got the big discount on your domain and hosting package last year. Eventually they will be charged the normal prices, and I can confirm that the current annual price to renew is AUD 62.95 for Yola Bronze and AUD 15.95 for a .com domain.

You've got a point on the exchange rates. Our pricing is done manually and doesn't automatically fluctuate according to the latest exchange rate. We will review the non-USD pricing from time to time. If you're not happy with current pricing in AUD, you could choose USD as your currency on the Payment Screen in order to benefit from a better exchange rate.

What I can also offer you is to write us an e-mail using our Contact Support Form, and we'll check what we can do for you pricewise with regard to this renewal.

I remember when Yola was completely free. When they first introduced paying for hosting, it was $19.95. Vinnie must be getting pretty greedy.
