Hi, is their anyway that my information can be hit? I just googled my website address and the site cam up and had all my personal info like my email phone number address and stuff. Is there any way that I can hide that from outside sources other than yola?

yes you can.

1. login to your account.
2. go to the site in question.
3. go into the website.
4. once loaded up press site manager.
5. go to passowrd prection
6. type in any username and password (**THIS IS NOT YOUR YOLA LOGIN!!**)
7. lock the site.
8. press ok.
9 update site.,

if you do have any probs jus come back!!

The information that Smithy has given you will password protect your pages, but this will not remove your information from the whois database. Everyone who registers a domian has their information in this registry unless they have a private registration. This is something that we can take care of for you, the cost to enable domain privacy if you have a domain purchased from Yola is $9.95 per year. If you have purchased your domain from Yola please email us and and we can help with this. If your domain is registered elsewhere you would need to contact your domain registrar for help with this.

Hi Rob

It is good to have a private registration not only for the privacy issue but it is a great help in keeping the spammers away from you and tons of junk mail showing up at your home.....I think it is worth the $9.95 a year.
