Problem accessing uploaded files

Problems accessing files I uploaded.

The most simple example is directly on my home page: http://markm.yolasite.com/ This contains an image widget that I've pointed to test.jpg at the top level of the file manager (I copied it here after having problems with it in other locations as well - I just double-checked and test.jpg IS there and I just re-updated my site as well.) It displays fine in both the sitebuilder and preview modes, but on the published site it won't load.

I emailed support but so far all I've gotten back is "did you publish?" to which I've replied, but nothing since.

Looking at Live HTTP headers in FireFox shows a 404 trying to load http://markm.yolasite.com/resources/t..., yet that's the URL generated using the sitebuilder and image widget (no typos on my part) and as far as I can tell should be valid.

Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

The end-goal is to access some javascript and other data files in other directories, but if I can't get something this simple working...

If there's any additional information I can provide, feel free to ask.

Hi Mark

I'm sorry that you're feeling frustrated. I hope that this is something we can resolve.

How are you adding your image? Are you using HTML to add your image or using the image widget?

The file names are case sensitive. Please be sure to copy it exactly. You can determine the image pathway by simply hovering over your image in your file manager and the file name will come up along with its folders.

Can you post your site builder url with the image you do see in your site builder? This will help us to troubleshoot what is going on.

Thanks, I hope this turns out to be something really silly too.
I added this particular image using the image widget - no typing on my part.
SiteBuilder: http://sitebuilder.yola.com/ide/index...
Case "appears" correct to me, but I've been staring at it for so long now...

Hi Mark,

Did you possibly rename that image at any point in time after you had added it to the page?

Can you try removing the image from your File Manager and from the page and starting fresh by uploading it again and then putting it on your page. Let us know how this goes.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Here's what I did in order to hopefully not cause confusion for littleus...
I uploaded a duplicate of the image as test2.jpg and added a new image widget under the original text on the site. And then updated the site (which has now completed). Still no go (for either image) on either my original FF or in safari (just to make sure it wasn't a caching problem - before right now I had not at all loaded my site in safari.) Safari shows two "?" in place of the images.

Not this solution exactly, but this was the last place where informing people that it had been solved was available. The fix was contacting support@yola.com which got engineers to look at and fix the problem.
