For some reason, when I copy paste code from the Yola HTML editor into any text editor (Textwrangler, Smultron), the code appears on one line or all messed up in some other editors. What is causing this and how can I fix it? It's a real pain always having to reformat the code so that it looks like it is supposed to.

Very annoying agreed - there is a a fix...

It normally helps if you press enter from the end of the first line of the code.(in the editor)

Always works for me.

Interesting. I will give that a try. Does it matter if I am working on a Mac, PC or Linux?

Hi Lee,

I tried what you recommended but nothing happened. What am I missing. I copy/pasted the code from the Yola HTML editor int Textwrangler. Then I went to the end of the line and pressed the Enter key. Nothing happened.

I think that this is where Yola really needs to ramp up the user contributed training video section so that users can actually see how things are done. There are so many videos I would like to see in this section that would help me out immensely.

press enter at the end of the line in the site builder. then copy it across.

Sorry, in my message above what i meant by 'in the editor' was in the site builder editor.

Lee.

Thanks Lee,

That seemed to partly work. Some of my code looked fine and some of it appeared on just one line. I wonder what causes this in the Yola editor?

I think for now I will use my external editor until a more robust editor is in introduced into Yola.

Thanks again!!
