Problem with centering text - Yola bug?

Hi Yola team!

I've suddenly started to have a problem with the centre text button. After centering it in the editor, when I save the page and go back to it, the text appears left justified. This is happening on every new page I try to edit. At the moment I can't create any new pages because of this problem. Hope someone can help? My site is http://www.simplyeighties.com

Mark you have your titles nicely centered but not the text in the boxes. Is that what you are referring to?

If it is, the default styling is set within the CSS as left centered. I think your best bet would be to go back into the body text of a boz and try to re-align it to center. Save then view. I noticed that there is a consecutive series of arguments with left centerd followed soon after by the default styling. I have no idea why or if in fact it's the cause. The blog does similar things with text modifications and you have to just work at it until it comes clear.

If you have Silver and you wish all your text to be centered then you may like to over-ride the CSS with center alignment instead of Left alignment. This will of course affect all your text.

The problem I am having is with the editor. This is a problem that started yesterday. The pages I have already published are fine, but any new pages I am creating won't allow me to centre any text. When I do, it simply reverts back to left justified. There seems to be some sort of bug with my site. I only need the titles to be centred, not the text below, although no text will centre at all. I'm desperate to get this sorted as I can't create any new pages with titles on my site as they look untidy.

Hello, I'm back again! I've discovered that the problem is being caused by Firefox 8 which I downloaded yesterday. I'm having no problems editing my site with Google Chrome or Internet Explorer, although the latter is so slow that it's almost unusable, but that's another issue.

So a warning to all Yola users. Don't download the latest version of Firefox 8 just yet as it seems to be causing problems with the text editor.

Wish I had read this earlier. . . FF keeps this up and I am going to stop using them for everything...They are updating too quickly and not anyone can keep up.Half my apps no longer work so what is the point in using FF when Chrome is faster?

I use Chrome and have the same centering problem. The first line of text centers as expected, but the second line won't - it's only a 2 line text box, so I don't see how this could be happening

Welcome to my world of roaming text that will not stay put! Although you may think FF8 is causing the problem I have been using FF8 since it was released and never had issues with Yola. About 1 week ago I started having issues with Yola left justifying all my text. I want to keep my FF8 browser because I load pics nearly everyday on 7 different websites and I need FF's ability to allow pic resizing that holds it's ratio in a text box. I am considering moving all 7 accounts to another host, I have to fight with this everyday and it is getting extremely old. Don't get me wrong, I love Yola but it takes me 4 times the amount of time to discover new and creative ways to make my text stay put! I can add html to the font, I can copy/paste font that is already center aligned and sometimes it will hold when I replace the text with the desired content if I am extremely careful. I have gone as far as to load text with Chrome and flip back over to FF8 to load pics, with all the sites I maintain I have trouble keeping track of all this jumping around.

I'm doing exactly the same thing! Jumping between Chrome and Firefox 8 to edit my site. I have to agree, this is extremely frustrating and time consuming.
