Somtimes when I enter login info it comes back saying that ME can't display the page. I get it sometimes within YOLA too. I don't get it on other sites. I've tried deleting history, cache, cookies, and temp internet files. It doesn't help. I run CLeanup 4 and that helps for a day or two, somtimes, but this has been goign on for a month or more and I'm finally getting fed up. Please HELP!!

whats ME?

What browser are you using?

Yola works best in Firefox and Chrome is not yet supported.

Can you try using Firefox? This works best with Yola. You can download for free: http://en-us.www.mozilla.com/en-US/fi...

I had a similar thought a while back and I downloaded firefox to see if that would fix it, but no dice. It still had the same trouble with Firefox.

Hi Steve,

It must be frustrating!

I know you've followed most of the steps below, but can you try the one's you've missed?

* Check to see if you are having problems with your network or internet service provider.
* Clear your browser's cache. This link has more information: http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Bro....
* Check your privacy settings. You must accept cookies from Yola. Please click on this link to find instructions for accepting cookies with your browser: http://www.google.com/cookies.html.
* Check that your browser is set to enable Javascript. This link has more information on how to check: http://www.google.com/support/websear....
* Try loading the site in a different browser (eg. Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer).
* Try loading the site on a different computer or network if possible.

Could you also confirm whether logging in is the problem or opening your site in the site builder?

My guess is you have some microsoft WORD formatting on your page - which is trying to involve Microsoft explorer.

Can you post your URL so we can see if there is any unwanted formatting code.

all seems to check out ok - if that is the URL - perhaps its not the only site in that account?

It could also be bad coding? Can you recall Steve what the last thing was that you added? Also.. you may find this thread to be a helpful trick:

ok... wow, let me try to give the information needed in an organized format. First of all, thanks to all for the help.

no network or ISP problems, cache cleared, and I had already set the browser to allow cookies specifically from YOLA. Javascript runs no problem and is allowed, firefox didn't help, and I can access my account on other computers just fine even in the same building (i.e. tried in the office next door).

Next...here are the URL's for the sites I currently operate:

www.ymcaalkids.org (hosted through dreamhost)
www.fitforeveralbertlea.org (hosted through dreamhost)
www.alfyschoolsout.synthasite.com
www.albertleaswim.synthasite.com

I am not having any trouble accessing these URL's. The problem is accessing my actual YOLA account, and sometimes moving around within the actual YOLA.com site. i.e. I was trying to use the "get help" area for this and gave up after about 5 times of typing or pasting the post and trying to send. When I would try to submit it, it would come up with the unable to display page. I finally gave up and ended up finding this forum.

Additionally, since this problem goes away for a bit after I run the Cleanup program, it takes a bit to see if it's helped. I don't know what the CLeanup program clears that isn't done by going through IE, but it seems like somehow something gets "bumped out of place," and the cleanup program puts it back correctly. I also have my home page set to Hotmail on my browser, and I've noticed that when YOLA's not working right that Hotmail is a lot slower too. I know just a little more that enough about computers to probably be pretty dangerous, so I don't know what things link and are signifficant and what is just red herring. Again, thanks for the help.

Hi Steve - if you're able to access Yola on other computers without problem, it definitely sounds like an issue with your system. As a result, it's very difficult to find out what it could be from our end. It may be something faulty with software on your machine, perhaps a browser didn't install correctly, perhaps you have other software on your computer that is interfering or even your antivirus software that doesn't like Yola. I really wish we could help you solve the problem, computers can drive us nuts sometimes!
