Whenever I add a link on a page it make the link "mailto". To add a link, I have a text box and type the text I want to link to in that box. I highlight the text and click the link to button in the toolbar. In the external website link, I type in the URL and save it. Instead of the hyperlink being the website, it always makes it mailto. I have fixed a couple by editing the HTML, but would like to see if their is a problem that you can correct.

Hello johnison01

I wasn't able to find your Yola account in our system using your Get Satisfaction profile e-mail address. Can you please provide your login e-mail (not your password) or your URL? Then I'll be able to check in your account what's going on. Thanks.

Hello johnison01

This is one of those many odd issues that I fail to replicate on my end. I have created a test page on your website named "Test" – don't worry, it is not in your navigation and you can delete it yourself at any time. You can select the test page from your Page Selector in Sitebuilder to see what I tested. I must admit I'm absolutely clueless why it should automatically change to a mailto link when you create links on your side. What e-mail address does it use in the HTML code?

Can you please clear your cache and cookies and create a test page? Try to add links there, and if the problem should re-occur, please first try a different browser. Otherwise, please leave it as it is and come back to us. We will be able to investigate this on your account then.

It does not use any email address. It just call for he default email account and composes a message. I will try your suggestions and let you know the results.

As we are unable to reproduce this on our end it strongly suggests that it is related to your system set up. My best guess would be that it's browser related but as you have tried multiple browsers with the same result that would suggest that is not the case. Can you please try on an alternate computer or network to see if the problem persists?
