Yola is my current registrar for the web domain name, A check was mailed in December for $60.00. I am unable to pull my site up. I was told by DomainRegistry that the money was received but you have to release the code. My site is vital for my business. I need to resolve this so my customers can contact me. Please help!

Hello Pat,

Domain Registry is not associated with us. These domain registrars get your contact information from WHOIS, because your domain registration details are publicly available. You can choose to make your details private by purchasing domain privacy at USD9.95 per year (please let me know if you would like more information).

Your domain is still registered through us and has not yet been transferred to Domain Registry. However, your domain has not yet been renewed and nor has Domain Registry renewed your domain. You can see this here:

Your domain has expired on September 5, 2011. You can still renew your domain as there is bit of a grace period. If you would like to keep your domain name with Yola, I suggest you ask for a refund from Domain Registry, letting them know you were unaware that they were not your current registrar. You should also let them know that from the WHOIS database you can see that your domain is not renewed, which is another reason why you would like your money back. From my experience they will refund you.

I understand that it is an added expense to renew your domain with Yola after you have all ready paid Domain Registry, but in order for us to renew your domain name, you would need to renew it through us.

If you would like to renew your domain with Yola please follow the steps on this link: Renew the domain you purchased from Yola. Once these steps have been completed your domain will be renewed automatically.

Please let me know if there are any further questions.
