Problems with checking out on my online store.

My customers can't check out on my online store. It was working previously.

Can you please describe in more detail what happens when your customers try to check out? Do they get any error message?

no they get a message at the shipping stage saying we do not post to that address, I have discovered that as it is an online store when I delete the text from the description box on page properties then it allows my customers to checkout, which means I cannot add a description for the search engines,

Hi Tim,

Just to reiterate, when you have text in your product description field you get a shipping error message. When it's removed, customers are able to proceed to checkout.

We'd like to look into this for you. Could you provide us with your website address? If you could also let us know whether this happens for all products, or for a single product, it will be helpful.

Sorry the problem occurs not in product description but happens when I go into "edit site" when I click on "page" and then "page properties" the text boxes come up to put in "page heading" "window title" and then "description" it appears that if I enter text into this description box it is then impossible for my customers to check out of my online store, if I remove the text everything reverts back to normal and they can check out, I would like to be able to put a description in so it can be picked up in search engines, many thanks for your help, Tim

I tried to replicate this on my own account but failed. I was able to checkout via PayPal when I had added a Description to the Page Properties.

Would it be possible to publish a page on your site where you have added a Store as well as a Description and publish it so I can take a look? You can take the page out of the navigation if you don't want to confuse your customers.
