Problems with images extending beyond custom panels.

All pages on my site have a centered picture widget at the top. While things look as they should on my computer, some viewers are complaining that these pics are extending beyond the borders of the custom panels they are placed in. It seems to be happening on peoples phones also, even though I've configured the sight for phones.

Hello Peter,

Your best bet is to configure the image(s) to fit the measurements of the image holder before uploading.. If it's done with the builder facility this sometimes fails.

This makes a lot of sense, but I'm not sure how to find the measurements of the image holder.

There are a number of facilities free for download to measure on-screen sizes. They are auto-calibrated and take into account the resolution of your screen so there's no correction needed after reading the dimensions.

The downlaods are generally browser dependent so if you are using FireFox have a look at Firefox add-ons and if Chrome similarly. I use Ruul for Chrome and Measure It for FF

Generally these are installed on your browser window and you can toggle them on/off. Drag the cursor from top elft of the image to bottom right and the measurements appear in the facilities dedicated window. I find that they are reasonably intuitive.
