Problems with my website

I am paying for a website through Yola: www.karlweisbodyshop.com. Certain words on the site are underlined, and taking people away from the site. They seem to be additional info on the underlined words, BUT the words auto body shop are taking our customers to our competitions web sites!!!!!! Obviously this is unacceptable. Why is this happening without my consent, and how do I stop it from happening at all?

Oh, they are underlined. That would mean they are text-in-ads. Can you think of any code you put in there. Like a code from Kontera ads? And, does a little box pop up when you scroll over it? It is either the style you have (That shouldn't be the problem though) or some HTML code you put in by accident.

An add does pop up when you scroll over them, and no I did not add any code that would do this. The site has been up since April 28, 2010, and for the first month of me checking it, those lines were not on there, and I have not edited the site since it went public. I also haven't checked it in a couple months (assuming it was fine), So I have no idea when this could've happened, or how my site was hijacked. I am not familiar with html code at all, that's the reason I chose Yola to create my site for me, so I have no idea how to fix this issue. Please help me remove these adds or refer me to somebody who can. Thank you, Sharon Hunter Karlweisbodyshop.com

I am very familiar with HTML code. I have a bunch of HTML right in the site builder because I write custom codes. Anyways, I don't know why you have those. Do you have any browser toolbar or anything that would give you suggestions through websites? Maybe its a toolbar or an add-on.

Hello Sharon

I'm sorry to hear that you're having this trouble. I'm attaching a screenshot of what I see when I navigate to your site. I do not see any underlining or links.

I'm wondering if you may have some kind of spyware added to your computer? I would check this out and try removing it.

Please let me know how this goes.

You don't see them anymore? Good! :) But I wonder what it was. Do you think it was an add on on your browser?

Yeah. How did you get it to stop showing the ads? And if you go to the www.HTMLBasix.com thing, there are so much of those annoying text in ads! Whenever you roll over them, they have a box pop up and its annoying to users! But, that website has a lot of HTML code generators. Like the Mouse trail thing and stuff.

I'm not sure. All I did was delete my history, cookies... and eliminated a few IE accelerators, and I disabled an add-on for gamevance that was left from a game I no longer play. One of those must've been the culprit.
