Hello Maddi,

Postage can be added at checkout. The calculation all depends of course on destination, type of delivery, weight and sometimes product packed dimensions.

Your delivery company will have these costs outlined. If you arrange a business PayPal account, which you shouldn't have any problem with, then generally that allows interfacing with the delivery company's API. This means that the cost is added seamlessly at checkout by direct communication with the delivery company. Your client will receive an invoice at payment outlining the details of product cost and shipping cost. There is only one payment made at checkout by your customer.

If you aren't using a delivery company with an auto delivery estimation online (an API) then you will need to be able to do this on your side. Generally the Shopping Cart has some kind of facility to produce a table of charges which is looked up at the checkout time.

If delivery is within your country only then some people add a flat delivery cost across the board and include it in their product cost.

I know this is a very indirect answer but as you can see there are a number of variables dependent on a number of optional factors.
Generally Freight is the most expensive followed by Air Mail and then local post facilities but often there is a crossover between local post and Air-mail, dependent of course on the distance from despatch.
