Hi Yola Team,

Am new to your product but it looks like it has great potential for my kind of small business.

I want to have an online store catalogue that allows me to segment by different product types and to show multiple pics for each prouct.

Is it possible to do this with your paypal widget? If not, can you recommend an alternative way to do this? Any ref sites would be good to see. With thanks. TB

Hello there Terry,

Unfortunately you cannot segment your paypal widget into product types.

What I would suggest you do is add more than one Paypal Online Store Widget next to each other and use each widget for a particular product type.

You can then segment them easier.

Currently the Online Store Widget only allows for one picture per product. I can understand how you would like to have more than one image displayed for a product. There is a workaround but it requires you creating your own PayPal button for each item.

Here's how to create your own PayPal button:

1. Sign into your PayPal account.
2. Click the "Merchant services" tab in the horizontal menu.
3. Click the "Buy Now Button" or the "Add to Cart Button".
4. Choose button type and enter name and payment details.
5. Add the details of your selection.
6. Click "Done".
7. When done editing click "Create Button".
8. In the next window and in the (Website) code box click the "Select Code".
9 Right click on the highlighted text and click "Copy".
10. Open your site editor and drag an HTML Widget where you need it.
11. In the HTML Widget paste the code.

You can put multiple images of your product on your page in whatever format you would like, and then put the HTML Widget with the PayPal button by your product.

I know this might not be the most ideal way do this, but I hope you will be able to make the suggestion to work for you. If I can assist you further please let me know.

I hope this helps.

Combine the advice jeremy gave you with the Flickr Lightbox and I think you will be very happy with what you can do....Here is how I used the two on one of my product pages....http://kanthaidecor.com/double-twist-...

You are welcome Champ Sister....There is also a great side benefit to having a lot of photos on flickr....They come up in flickr search and image search on Yahoo/Bing....I also get referrals to my site directly from flickr pretty much every day.

From what I can see, you set up a photo on the left, then added your PayPal button into an HTML Widget on the top right and below that added your Flickr gallery which is set up for two pictures? Brilliant! I hope others may get a real inspiration from that and understand the value of the SEO benefits it reaps from utilizing the Flickr widget!

Nice one John; many thanks for your feedback.

I just woke up early in the UK having had a similar light bulb moment!

I was thinking of using Googles Picassa in some way or other. You've given me the inspiration to press ahead. Many thanks (and well done on your site by the way).
