PSA ads from Adsense (only on edit mode?)

Hi everyone,

I have noticed that when I'm editing my website I see PSA ads (that is Public Service Ads from which I don't receive any revenue) in my ad units from AdSense.

I have been running Adsense for months and I know when and why PSA display. They shouldn't appear and yet I see them when I'm editing my website.

My question is: Is this a Yola issue or this is something about my website?

It could also be, that my website is displaying PSA ads, but from my country (Spain) I only notice it when editing.

This is the website: www.russianforfree.com
(if anyone sees PSA ads, please let me know).

Thanks for your answers John and Brianna.

I know that list from Google help and checked it. As I said, I have never seen PSA ads on my site. BUT when Im editing it at Yola I see them a lot (sometimes the only ads I see all day is a Red Cross ad on every page.

Maybe I could translate the problem into two answers
- Is this a Yola issue that makes PSA ads appear in the editor (this is something that maybe you engineers could answer)?
- Is it that in some countries for some reason PSA ads are displayed even though they shouldn't (this is something that we can't guess but not answer)?

You see, now Im going through different pages in the editor.
E-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e the same ad about Red Cross' event “Recovery Blood Drive: Winter Weather”. This is the only ad that appears on every page on every ad unit.

But, when I check my site online, I only see normal ads. Isn't it strange?

Hello jajejijose,
When you add a piece of javascript to your site the data is accessible at load time and Google AdSense would be able to view the contents of your site. That said, the sitebuilder pages are not accessible by the search engines at all times because these pages are blocked to incoming spiders.

What I believe is happening here is that the javascript is getting a quick look at the page content and displaying what it can in the ad sections, sometimes it will display something appropriate, sometimes not which is why you are seeing the public service ads or ads that do not match your site content.

If you are seeing the ads properly on your published site this is what matters and Google is able to fully spider the pages, see the content, and display the most relevant ads.

I hope this information helps. My other suggestion, if you want more information, would be to post in Google's forum and see if you can get some further assistance regarding how Google looks at pages, such as sitebuilder pages, when it comes to AdSense and displaying relevant data.

Kind Regards,
Emmy
