Hello,
Synthasite does not have name servers to give you as this would be for domain name management which Synthasite does not provide. We provide hosting so need you to configure your A Record to point towards our IP address 208.75.208.172.

Please verify with your domain name registrar if they provide domain name management, if they do not we can provide you with an alternative.

Just in case you haven't received instructions, these are general instructions on how to configure your domain to point to SynthaSite.

How to configure a domain name you already own:

1. Log in to your chosen domain registrar (eg. GoDaddy.com, Register.com).
2. Go to the DNS Management page.
3. Set up an A Record.
4. The IP address of your record must point to: "208.75.208.172"

Please note that it can take up to 48 hours (although usually less) for these changes to take effect and you need to contact your domain registrar if you need help in that regard. Feel free to forward any instructions you receive from them to us so that we can advise you further.

Once you have configured your DNS settings, click the yellow "Publish My Site" button in SynthaSite, "I already own a domain name". Fill in your domain name and follow the prompts to publish your site. If you have any difficulty with this please let us know.

Please let us know if your registrar does not provide domain name management or if you have further questions.

Regards,
Emmy

Hi Dan,

In addition to Emmy's reply - if your domain registrar is still insisting that they can't edit the A Record, you can use the services of ZoneEdit. ZoneEdit is not a domain registrar, rather, you need them when you have registered a domain, but not been provided with suitable DNS management services enabling you to point your A record at SynthaSite.

You will need to request from your current domain registrar (the people who you bought your domain through) that they change your nameservers to the ZoneEdit nameservers.

You can find more information on the tutorial: http://www.synthasite.com/tutorials/p...

Please let us know if you need any other details.
