Hi there Steve,
Congratulations on finishing your website.

You can publish your site by clicking on the yellow "Publish My Site" button on the top of your page. You will then be given three choices for publishing your site:

1. You can buy a custom (or dotcom) domain name from Yola. The cost is US$19.95 per domain per year, and includes automatic setup and hosting. In this case, your website's address will look like this: www.yourdomain.com, www.yourdomain.net, www.yourdomain.org or www.yourdomain.biz - the choice is yours.
- To purchase a custom domain name through Yola, select the "Buy my own domain name" option.
- Type in the domain name that you wish to buy. A quick search will be done, letting you know if this domain name is available or not. Then click on "Next".
- Choose your options. You can purchase more than one domain and you can pay for more than one year. You also have the option to pay for domain privacy so that your details are not publically available.
- Please fill in the form required (we need this information in order to register the domain name on your behalf), and you will be taken through the steps to purchase your own domain name.
- Please note, it can take up to 48 hours for domain names to be transferred and your site to be up and running.

2. You can publish your site using a free Yolasite subdomain name. In this case your website's address will look like this: http://yourdomain.yolasite.com
- To publish to a free subdomain name, click on "Use a free Yolasite subdomain", type the domain name you would like to use into the box provided.
- Then, if it is available, click "Next". Your site will then be published and will be available immediately on the internet.

3. Finally you can publish your site using a domain name that you already own.
- If you have a domain you have purchased elsewhere, please click here for a tutorial on how to set it up to point to your Yola website: [Using a Domain Name Not Purchased Through Yola](http://www.yola.com/tutorials/publish....
- After clicking on "Publish my Site", click on "I already own a domain name" and follow the steps until your site is published.

Now that you have published your site you can update your content as often as you would like. The "Publish My Site" button will change to "Update My Site" and you can update every time you make changes to your site.

Please let us know if you need any more help publishing your site.

This article says immediately available on the web. It is not. Even several minutes after publishing the old site pages still show.
Also when I edit, save and then return to the page after editing another my changes do not show. I have to make another change, save and then choose 'use saved page'.
These issues are frustrating and stop me even considering paying for an upgrade.

Hi Barbara,

As soon as you press the 'Publish to the Web' button, your site is published live. Please could you share your domains with us as well as a description of what changes you have made that are not appearing online? I will be happy to look into this with you.

I made changes to some pages on one site, published. Later I make more changes, return to a saved page and the saved changes do not show. This happens a lot. I have to make a change, save, then choose 'saved version'.

But the new pages or changed pages not being available hours after the 'publish' button is used is really frustrating.

This is enough to stop me even considering upgrading.
In fact I am close to dropping Yola altogether, this is so very frustrating.
the whole thing is slow and cumbersome.

Much easier if I find a site that I can upload Work docs to.
