Question: Is there a way to set a default font for a blog page?

Suggestion: It would be great if we were able to resize the blog edit window when writing our blogs. For now, I am trying to go into a text editor, writing my blog and then pasting it into my blog post. Are there better ways to do this when working with Blog posts? What would be the easiest way when it comes to writing new blog entries?

Hi Randy,

Thanks for bringing this up! To my understanding every time you post a new blog entry, the font size and type will always go to the pre selected size and type. I will be happy to pass the idea of setting a 'select' font size and type to my colleagues for future consideration.

As for writing the blog post. I have found it ideal to write my blog posts in Text Edit, keeping them in plain text and then pasting it into the blog widget. Of course writing directly into the blog widget would be the 'easiest', but I like to take time to when i'm drafting my blog posts, so I usually write a bit, let it sit and come back to it a bit later!

Thanks Brianna!

I was thinking of doing the same thing. Just going into a text editor that will allow me to paste plain text into my blog. I work in the Mac and Linux environment with some Windows as well but what I was thinking was to use one of the many online text editors out there to do my blogs. This way I could create my blogs on any computer and then just paste them into my Yola blog.

By the way, do you use the Yola blog for creating your blog or do you use another blog service?

Hi Randy,

You know I have used a few different blog environments, especially while I was finishing up my college degree. The ones that I did get quite familiar with are Blogger and Wordpress.

Since I spend most of my days working on Yola sites, I now choose to use the blog feature here since it is so convenient and does what I need in a blog! For the more advanced bloggers, we suggest that they go elsewhere as the blog we offer is not as technically advanced as some of the others. I guess what it comes down to is personal preference!
