Question regarding domain hosting?

I have a question about hosting. I currently manage a website for a small business and the software we have used in the past is slowly being phased out. At this time we are not interested in the large expense and learning curve associated with new software. We are looking at YOLA as we believe it offers the right amount of features for our needs at a reasonable monthly price.

When I was trying to figure out how to use this service and post to our existing website it directed me to the yearly YOLA Silver package. We had been considering the monthly Gold package and i am wondering if this would also allow us to point to our existing domain.

Hello Simon

You have two options:
  1. It is possible that you purchase a domain and a hosting package with us and point your domain to your external website by editing your domain settings with Yola. This requires that your current host allows to do that. Please also contact their support to find out if this is possible from their side. This option is available for all our paid hosting packages, Yola Bronze, Yola Silver, and Yola Gold.

  2. It's true that with every new software you start using you will need to learn. However, I can assure you that Yola Sitebuilder is really easy to use, and you will work yourself into it very quickly. If you purchase Yola Silver or Yola Gold, you will be able to make use of the powerful features these packages have to offer, such as Premium Styles, Mobile and Facebook Publishing, etc. and SEO management of your website (only Yola Gold). If you need any assistance on your way, our Support will be ready to help you. If you have any specific requirements, you can always ask us to make sure that we can provide it or point you to a third party provider to embed their feature into your Yola website. I think it may be worthwhile to consider rebuilding your website with the Yola Sitebuilder.

Please let me know if you have more questions.
