Search engine results pages (SERPS) change all the time. If you have worked hard to rank 1st or 2nd page on Google you have to continue to do so to hold your spot. Everyone is trying to get their site on the 1st page so it is a constant battle of SEO.

What keyword or keyword phrases were getting you 1st and 2nd page results? Maybe you could share your site url and we can see if we can help you out with some SEO tips

Hi Jas,

Here is a selection of tutorials on SEO and Site promotion. Things change rapidly so not all will be current but on overall it's good.

Keywords have very little impact on your ranking. It's content, content and content then subsequently and indirectly feedback from viewers. Google and BIng/Yahoo are taking the relevant points from your content to add to their own search indexes. Meta-keywords are not used for ranking at all.

OK I can see an issue here Jas. It's called duplicate content. You have repeated the same stuff at the bottom of your pages I think. This can actually cause a penalty with ranking.

You are much better to put this as content in the relative page and not repeat it again systematically.

It is a little bit unusual but I think it could still be defined as duplication

Hi Jas,

I am sorry you're having this problem. Please take a look at the helpful tutorials that Gop has posted. His advice about duplicate content is also very helpful.

As KanThaiDecor mentioned, search engine results change constantly.

This is because search engines regularly change their algorithms and how they rank sites and pages. One day you might be ranked one, and the next day you may not even be on the front page.

One thing to consider is that there are multiple sites all of the sites vying for the keywords you are using (e.g., van, man, movers), and the search engine needs to constantly decide which site to put in which position in their results.

The best recommendation I can offer is that you update your site regularly, do regular keyword research, use meta tags, and also work on gathering more backlinks as this is a very important part of how the search engine ranks pages. For more information about backlinking, take a look at this article: Backlinks.

Meta words are not used by the big search engines at all. Matt Cutts of Google has emphatically made this statement time and again. Keywords are what the search engines extract from your content and nothing to do with your meta-keywords.
