Hi Emmy,

In answer to your question below ...yes, I changed the name of the page a few days ago..
The page in question has always existed, the only change was to the page name ..???

I changed the page name to this http://www.westseas.com/lisbon-and-co... as you can see it's similar to http://www.westseas.com/lisbon-coast.php but with the "and" in between.

Can you help?

P.S I have, just know, removed a dead link from the page..could that be it?

Mark

Hi Mark,

The page http://www.westseas.com/lisbon-coast.php doesn't appear to exist because when I click on it I get a 404 error. Did you have this page at one time and then delete or rename it? If you could give me some history on that page I will try to help.

Thanks,
Emmy

Hi Mark,

Thanks for providing that information!

If you created any links to that page while it had the name lisbon-coast and then changed the name to lisbon-and-coast the link won't work anymore because as far as the code is concerned the page lisbon-coast doesn't exist anymore.

You would need to recreate any links to go to the new page name. Please let us know if you have further questions.

Just some information regarding the code - 404 Not Found

I eventually verified my Webmaster account yesterday and noticed today that eight pages have not been recognised. When checking them out, all the eight pages had been re-named. The original page names are still crawled by Google even though they do not exist within my website - therefore the above code comes up.

Thought this info might help some others.

Regards

Michelle
