I would like to add a "READ MORE" feature to some of my posts. Not all of them. I would also like to decide for myself where to place the read more. If there is any coding that you could provide or hints I would be grateful.

Thanks.
PS I love SynthaSite.

Hello,
We're very glad you love Synthasite!

To have a Read More link (the wording on your blog is set to say Continue Reading) you need to have that post collapsed, which means that the main blog page will show only the beginning of the post and then when the reader clicks Continue Reading they will be able to read the rest. There are a few options for this.

If you click on the little Edit icon in the left hand corner of the blog widget, it is right above the yellow New Post button you will be given some options;

1. to Expand First Post Only which will show the entire post without a Continue Reading link
2. Expand All Posts which show each post in its entirety so none will have a Continue Reading link or
3. Collapse All Posts which will give every post a Continue Reading Link

So unfortunately there isn't a way to customize this to only show for the posts you desire. Sorry I don't have better news.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Thanks for your quick response. I was afraid of this.
Could you possibly add this as a request for newer updates. Also the ability to edit my coding withhin my blog.
