Would it be acceptable for a web publisher to use the Yola logo and provide a link to the Yola home page on a page that listed sponsors of the web page? Where would someone send a request for affiliation, or to get permission to advertise the Yola site? Would it violate the terms to list Yola as a free host to my company on a sponsors page?

Hello Gabriel,

That is awesome that you would like to support Yola in this manner! There is a thread in our forum where another user requested some Yola banners to place on his site, so if you would like to use these please feel free! Here is a link to the thread where you will be able to download the banners, they are towards the bottom: Yola Banners.

If you would like to link the banner to Yola here are the steps to do this:

1. Save the banner image you would like to your computer
2. Drag an image widget onto your page
3. Choose to upload the image from Your Computer
4. Once the image is on the page, click on the image and then on the Properties Tab
5. Scroll down and click on Choose Link and choose an External Link and put this in the field: http://yola.com

Now the image will be linked to Yola's home page. Thanks for your support!

Oh, you can view the main website from http://greyeyesgabrielinternational.com however, I have not finished the sponsors page, and am trying to get permissions from other sources that I use. Thank you!

Thank you; with all that Yola has provided, even before the name change; it is an honor to support and advertise Yola. I have even kept the Yola link @ the bottom of the websites. I am building sponsor pages for my websites to bring more traffic to those that have supported my web endeavors and just wanted to include a Yola link, but did not want to jeopardize my Yola affiliation since the majority of my websites are built and hosted on the Yola platform. I will take this as express written consent and will make a screen shot for my files. Once again, thank you for everything you provide for web publishers & designers, I have been here through the growth and appreciate every development that you have given to us in our toolbox. Yola is the best DIY web builder on the web.

Hi Gabriel. Thank you for clarifying this point. Here is a general guideline for people to follow: you should not use the name Yola to try to pass off your own site as being connected to Yola (such as in your site title or domain name). However, you are always welcome to link to us, provided it is clear that you are promoting the Yola brand and any advertising links back to www.yola.com. Once again, thank you for your support and we wish you the best of luck with your site!
