reCAPTCHA integration help needed!!

Seems I'm getting bots targeting my lovely Yola-created forms.... literally thousands of replies posted when I know I do not get that kind of traffic!
Is there a way to integrate reCAPTCHA or similar to the form editor? Also would be useful to have the option to block multiple submissions from a single IP address.
Any ideas how to do that?

Currently I don't think there is a way to integrate reCAPTCHA.
I think putting a maths question into the form can stop bots.
Such as:

What is 2 add 5?

Even is the answer is wrong it may stop bots.
But it isn't a sure fire way.

Hi Sophie,

We don't have a Captcha feature available in the Yola form yet - this is something we would still need to add.

I can only suggest that you use another form service that has Captcha. You can use Wufoo (www.wufoo.com) or Form Assembly (www.formassembly.com). Once you've customized the form, copy the HTML embed code provided and add it to your page using the HTML Widget.

I hope that helps!

Thanks Marije - hopefully this can be added in the near future. The new Yola form system is fab, so it's a shame not to be able to use it safely!

Thanks guys - tried both Wufoo and FormAssembly but free version is too limited, while the paying one is too expensive. Anyone knows of a flat fee form builder that is reasonable and works with Yola?

Sophie, there's another service called Jotform that could be helpful - www.jotform.com

:( Jotform's not going to work - need over 1,000 submissions a month & can't afford a $49 per year... will try the math question!

The math question isn't stopping the bots, but at least now I for sure that it is bots - the question's just being ignored...

Hello Sophie,
I am sorry to hear that you are still facing this issue and am glad to see that Marije has provided helpful workarounds for you. Please know that we are working hard each day to provide a wonderful sitebuilding tool for our clients. While we currently do not have a Captcha on our forms, the best we can do is provide you with alternate form options until we support that feature. I am confident that you will find an alternate Captcha feature to incorporate on your site. If we come across any that we feel will assist you, we will gladly share them with you.

If you can use Jotform, even the free version does have the Captcha feature.
