Redirects broken after trying to move page

I moved the last page which was being redirected so it would show up as the first page when you typed in my web address. The redirect didn't seem to work when I changed the order so I moved it back to it's original location and now it doesn't work at all. Can you tell me what happened and how I can get back to work again.

Is there anyway to make the last page (which is a page that is redirected) to be my first page? If not how do I fix what I did. I didn't change any of the redirects Just moved within the navigator.

Hello Hatcheck Girl,

Can you give me the page names and explain how each of them are currently working, and how you would prefer them to work so I can see it in action. That will help with getting it set up the way you would like.

Thanks,
Emmy

Welcome page was swapped with the Members area page which is the last page. Right now I put them back in the order they were in, before this happened. but the members area will not redirect anymore www.backyard-buddies.com

the tag is and it was fine before and I never altered or changed it.

Hello Hatcheck Girl,
I have looked at your members page and it seems to be directing to this URL: http://debra.pilotgroup.mobi/, although the page has nothing on it. What was at this url previously?

The url is correct I deleted that page and recreated it, but it still didn't work. Also I am noticing in Firefox every time I use yola it asks me for permission? This is new to me as well since it was never an issue previously and I have done nothing to change any of those settings. So I'm thinking this could be a yola issue? The host provider of the redirect is working fine.

I just had an EPIPHANY but before I do any more damage to my site JUST THOUGHT the welcome page is designed to pop up first (regardless of what you call it). It is always going to be the page that opens first regardless of what order you place it in the navigation. So in order to make the redirect page pop up first, I would have to use my existing (welcome) page as the redirect page and make another and labeling it "Welcome".

Please let me know if I am correct - since I am speaking strictly as neophyte web builder. I would think typically this wouldn't be the case but since you have made the site for novices like me this might be the case.

Just trying to understand the logic behind the changes.

Yes, you are correct, the page called "index" will be the first page to open no matter of its placement on the navigation. Are you wanting to change your index page to something else? If so, here is a link with more information on how to do this: Change index page.

Let us know if you have further questions before making any changes :)

Kind Regards,
Emmy
