reducing the overall size of the website?

I love my template and the way my website is turning out, but I feel like the banner takes up half the page. It's too much.
Viewers are forced to scroll down quite a bit. Reducing the size of the text and photo don't help, either. The whole page just needs to be condensed. Is this do-able?

Thanks!

Hi Rivkah,

It is definitely possible to edit your banner.

I have taken a look at your site and I can suggest that try the route of resizing your banner via the banner editing options. To get to this, click "Edit banner" in the top left corner of your banner. You can then resize the banner by selecting the banner outline and moving the banner inwards.

Please try this, and let us know if it helped!

Hello Rivkah

If I understood your question correctly, you'd like to reduce the height of your banner area, is that right?

This can be done by editing your sitewide CSS which is a Yola Silver feature. If you know how to use CSS and you're ready for an upgrade, you will be able to adjust your banner area size as a Yola Silver user.

Yola Silver will also give you many more great features, and for detailed information please see our tutorial Yola Silver FAQ.
